Rain alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in Delhi for the next 30 years.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain for the next 6 days. There is an alert of heavy rain in Delhi on 13th August. On one hand, the weather remains pleasant after the rain. On the other hand, waterlogging has also occurred in many areas of Delhi and the roads have submerged. On the day of Rakshabandhan, there was a long jam on the roads due to waterlogging on the roads. In such a situation, people had to wait for hours and face trouble.

There is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning at many places in Arunachal Pradesh on 10 and 13 August and heavy rains are likely to continue at some places.

There is a possibility of very heavy rain in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura during August 10 to 15. Thunderstorms and rain are likely over the western Himalayan region and plains during the next 7 days. Rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on 10th August.
Heavy rain is likely over Telangana during 10th to 12th August. Strong winds are likely over South Peninsular India during the next 2 days. Heavy rain is likely over Madhya Maharashtra on 14th and 15th August. Rainfall is likely at some places over Konkan and Goa during 13th to 15th August.
