Heavy Rain Alert: Monsoon is active all over India. Due to the activation of the weather system, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in many parts of the country for the next 3 to 4 days. According to the Meteorological Department, a pressure area remains over the central parts of North Rajasthan. Due to its effect, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Rajasthan, eastern and adjoining central India during the next 2 to 3 days.

Heavy Rain Alert: The India Meteorological Department has predicted that many parts of the country may receive heavy rains in the next 3 to 4 days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for many states of northern, eastern, northeastern, central, western and southern India.

According to the IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the next 72 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, pressure remains over the central parts of northern Rajasthan. Due to its effect, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Rajasthan, eastern and adjoining central India during the next 2 to 3 days.

Very heavy rains may occur in Rajasthan, eastern and adjoining central India in the next 3 to 4 days. The Meteorological Department estimates that the IMD has issued an alert for rain in more than 15 states.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the low pressure area over the central parts of North Rajasthan is slowly moving in the west-northwest direction. It has turned into a pressure area.

Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in many areas including Bihar, Chhattisgarh, coastal Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Kerala and Mahe, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely at some places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh during July 16 to 21.

During July 16, 17 and 21, very heavy rains may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Eastern Rajasthan.

During July 16 to 19, rain may continue in many areas including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

According to IMD, moderate to heavy rains with thunder and lightning are likely to continue at many places in Northeast India during the next 7 days.

Heavy rains are likely at some places in Assam and Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Tripura during July 16 and July 19 to 21.
