Heavy Rain Warning: The India Meteorological Department has predicted that many parts of the country may receive heavy to very heavy rains for the next seven days. The Meteorological Department has said that the monsoon can have a strong effect across the country this week.
Heavy Rain Warning: Two low pressure areas have formed in two places of the country. One is in northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas and the other is in southwest Bihar and adjoining eastern Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, very heavy rains are likely in more than 15 states in the coming days.
According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rains may occur in many areas of eastern, northern, northeastern, western, central and southern India this week.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may continue today in many other areas including Bihar, Chhattisgarh, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Kerala and Mahe, Punjab, Uttarakhand.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to continue in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu during the next 6 to 7 days.
The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains are likely at some places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh during July 17 to 22.
Heavy rains may occur in Punjab, Haryana on July 17, 21 and 22. Very heavy rains are likely in East Rajasthan, North Punjab, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh today.
According to the IMD, heavy rains are likely in West Madhya Pradesh during today (July 18). Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in Bihar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on July 17, 20 and 21.
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning are likely to continue at many places in Northeast India during the next 7 days. Heavy rains are likely at some places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya during July 19 to 22.
