A new round of heavy to very heavy rains is going to come in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh from August 10. In such a situation, people living here need to be alert. Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rains are going to occur in Northeast and adjoining East India during the next seven days. On August 8, there will be extremely heavy rains at different places in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are going to continue in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on August 7-13. Talking about North West India, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh will receive very heavy rains from 7th to 13th August, Haryana on 11th August, Uttar Pradesh on 7th, 8th and 11th to 13th August, Jammu and Kashmir on 13th August.
Talking about South India, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rayalaseema are likely to receive heavy rains on 7th and 9th August, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 7th and 8th August. Tamil Nadu will receive very heavy rains on 8th August.
Apart from this, in East and Central India, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim are likely to receive heavy rains on 7th to 13th August, Odisha on 7th to 9th August, Bihar on 7th and 12th August, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand on 7th and 8th August, Chhattisgarh on 11th to 13th August, Andaman and Nicobar on 11th August, Vidarbha on 13th August.
