According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has gripped the entire Uttar Pradesh. The process of rain will continue in the state for the next few days. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at some places in UP on June 27. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in most of the districts from June 28 to July 1. During this, winds of 20 to 30 km / h are also likely to blow.
Highest rainfall in these districts of UP
In the last 24 hours, light to heavy rains have been recorded at many places in the eastern and western parts of UP with thunderstorms. Deoband in Saharanpur has recorded the highest rainfall of 6 cm, while Maudha in Hamirpur recorded 5 cm and Thakurdwara in Moradabad recorded 4 cm rainfall. Apart from this, 2 to 3 cm of rain has also been recorded in Jhansi, Lalitpur, Bijnor, Shamli, Banda and other districts.
Warning of very heavy rain in Uttarakhand

Weather of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand
The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of heavy rains in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Vidarbha and Odisha from 26 June to 2 July. Very heavy rains are expected in West Madhya Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand on 26, 29 June and 1 July.
Red alert of Meteorological Department in Kerala
Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Kerala, coastal Karnataka, South interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh from 26 to 29 June. There is a danger of flash floods in Wayanad, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts in Kerala. The department has advised the local administration to take necessary precautions.
Warning for fishermen
Fishermen in the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal have been advised not to go to sea from 26 June to 1 July. High waves are expected in the sea especially in the areas around Konkan, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Odisha and Andhra coasts.
