In the last 24 hours, light to heavy rains have been recorded at many places in the eastern and western parts of UP with thunderstorms. Deoband in Saharanpur has recorded the highest rainfall of 6 cm, while Maudha in Hamirpur recorded 5 cm and Thakurdwara in Moradabad recorded 4 cm rainfall. Apart from this, 2 to 3 cm of rain has also been recorded in Jhansi, Lalitpur, Bijnor, Shamli, Banda and other districts.
