IMD Rain Alert: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many states including UP, Bihar and Odisha. The weather in North India may change in the next 24 hours. On the other hand, heavy rain started in Delhi on Friday itself.
IMD Rain Alert: The weather of the capital Delhi has changed once again. From Friday morning itself, torrential rains started in many areas with strong winds. The Meteorological Department says that the process of rain may continue in the coming days as well. Light to moderate rains have also been predicted in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal on May 2. Apart from this, incidents of hailstorm may also occur at many places.
Let us tell you that due to strong winds and rain on Friday, trees were uprooted around the capital Delhi. At the same time, there is relief from heat due to rain. The Meteorological Department says that such activities may continue in North India till May 7.
Heavy rain alert here
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of torrential rain in many states. According to the IMD, heavy rains may occur in many districts of Odisha on May 2. Apart from this, Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh may also experience rain with thunder and lightning. Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 50 to 60 km per hour.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain with thunder and lightning in Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka, East Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, coastal Andhra Pradesh. There are also chances of light rain at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram. Apart from this, winds will continue to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers.
Where will it be hot?
The Meteorological Department says that heat will have to be borne in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Winds will also blow at a speed of 45 to 50 kilometers in Gujarat. At the same time, no prediction has been made regarding rain. In such a situation, the weather is expected to remain hot in Gujarat.
