IMD New Alert! Weather is changing, Heavy rain will occur for the next 36 hours, IMD issued an alert

For the residents of Lucknow, IMD has informed that it will rain for the next 36 hours, which will provide relief from the rising heat and after that a slight drop in temperature can be seen. 



The weather is going to change again in Lucknow and surrounding districts from Monday. There will be heavy and slow drizzle at some places with cloudy and thunder. There may also be a slight drop in the temperature.

All this will happen due to Western Disturbance over Iran. The Western Disturbance will rise from Iran and enter Uttar Pradesh via Afghanistan, Pakistan, Punjab. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the day temperature is likely to reach 35 degree Celsius this next week.

The Western Disturbance has turned from Iran to Afghanistan. In many parts of the state including Lucknow, its effect will start showing from Sunday night. It is likely to remain cloudy from Monday morning. There may be drizzle in two-three phases. Similar weather will prevail on Tuesday as well. In these two days, the day temperature is expected to be 33-34 and the night temperature is expected to be 18 degree Celsius.

Mercury can cross 35 degrees this week

There are chances of an increase in the afternoon mercury on Wednesday. On March 17, the day temperature is likely to reach 35 degrees. Director of Meteorological Department Mr. Danish told that now summer days have come. There will be a rise in temperature. In seven years, the day temperature in March has reached above 38 degrees. In the last two years, the day temperature in March has crossed 40 degrees. On March 30 last year and on March 31 in 2021, the day temperature was 40.2 degree Celsius.

The movement of Western Disturbance is now going to be visible in the fast moving weather towards warmth. Due to the Western Disturbance, there are chances of thunderstorms tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday. There may also be light drizzle. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of seeing the effect of Western Disturbance after the next 24 hours. According to the department, the sky may remain partly cloudy in Moradabad and surrounding areas on Tuesday and Wednesday.

There are chances of thunderstorms and light drizzle once or twice. Due to the effect of Western Disturbance, there will not be any major change in the temperature due to the seasonal changes, but, there will be a slight drop in the temperature and the period of increase in mercury may also stop for a short time. The maximum temperature of the day has been estimated to be around 32 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature of the night has been estimated to be around 16 degree Celsius.

These days it is very hot in the states from north to south. The temperature has reached above average. However, in some states people have also got some relief from the rains and thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has told that due to a new Western Disturbance, there will be rain and thunderstorms in the Western Himalayan region from March 12 to 14. Apart from this, rain activities will continue over South India, Central India and East India till March 15-17. Accordingly, there is a possibility of rain in different parts for the next six days.

Talking about the last 24 hours, Saurashtra, Kutch, Southwest Rajasthan, Konkan and Vidarbha recorded maximum temperature of 37-38 degree Celsius, while West Rajasthan, Odisha, Interior Karnataka, Goa, Interior Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh maximum The temperature was recorded between 35-37 degrees. Besides this, heatwave conditions were observed over Saurashtra, Kutch and Konkan. Besides this, light to moderate rains also occurred over West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, warnings of rain and thunderstorm have been issued in the western Himalayan region on March 12-14, in Punjab on March 12 and 13, in western Rajasthan on March 12 to 13 and in eastern Rajasthan on March 13. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for rain between March 12-14 in Gujarat, March 13-16 in Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada and March 14-16 in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, a forecast of rain has been issued over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, East Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand during March 15-17.

Know the temperature of the next five days

According to IMD, there is a possibility of heatwave in North Konkan region on March 12. In the states of Northwest India, the temperature will increase by two to three degrees for the next three days. There are no signs of any major change in the weather of West India. At the same time, the maximum temperature in the states of Central India will increase by two degrees Celsius in the next two days and then after that it may decrease by two to four degrees.
