IMD issued warning: Big news! Heavy rain will occur in these states for 48 hours, cold will also increase. know complete details

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for the northern states of the country as heavy rains are going to occur in these states for the next 48 hours, which will increase the problems of the people and the cold will also increase.

Cold winds are blowing in Uttar Pradesh including Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department has indicated light rain and drizzle in the national capital Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh. According to IMD, there may be light rain and snowfall in the Western Himalayan regions on January 29 and 30, while there is a possibility of rain in the plains of North India.

There will be drizzling in Delhi!

The movement of clouds will continue in the country’s capital Delhi today i.e. on January 28. However, the weather will be clear and the maximum temperature can remain up to 22 and the minimum temperature can be up to 5 degree Celsius. There, there will be drizzle on 29th January. During this, the maximum temperature can reduce to just 17 degrees, while the minimum temperature will be around 11 degrees. After this, on January 30 and 31, the maximum temperature is expected to be 21 and the minimum temperature is expected to be 11 degree Celsius only. There is no chance of fog in Delhi in the month of January.

  • The weather patterns are changing in Uttar Pradesh as well. Fog and mist are being seen in the sky in the morning.
  • Talking about Lucknow, the capital of UP, today (Saturday), January 28, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 10 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 21 degrees. At the same time, the weather will remain clear in Lucknow till January 29, while on January 30, rain activities will be seen. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in Lucknow on 30 January.

Weather changing due to effect of Western Disturbance

According to the weather forecasting agency Skymet, a western disturbance has formed over Jammu and Kashmir. A trough is extending from Punjab to Vidarbha via Haryana, East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, the fresh Western Disturbance i.e. Western Disturbance can reach the Western Himalayas today, on 28 January.

Due to which, during the next 24 hours, on January 29, light to moderate rain and snow is expected in different areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. There may be a gradual increase in the minimum temperature from January 29 in the northwestern, central and eastern parts of the country.
