Weather News Today: The heat wave has increased again in North India during the last few days. Heat wave has increased from Uttar Pradesh to Rajasthan. However, a new round of rain can be seen.

Rain Alert in India: If you are troubled by the continuous humid heat for the last few days, then there is a relief news for you. According to the weather department’s forecast, there will be lightning and heavy rains from Northeast India, Bengal to Sikkim during the next five days. While there is also a possibility of heavy rain in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka-Kerala and Tamil Nadu for the next three days. While a warning has been issued for heat wave in western Rajasthan from 15 to 19 May, Uttar Pradesh from 15 to 18 May and Bihar for two to three days.

The southwest monsoon is also gaining momentum and on May 16, it has advanced into some parts of the South East Arabian Sea, Maldives, many parts of the Comorin region along with South Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea. In the next 3-4 days, it will be seen moving ahead in some areas of South Arabian Sea, Maldives, parts of central Bay of Bengal. There are chances of rain with strong winds in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu. Rain warning with strong winds has also been issued in areas like Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana-Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Assam and Odisha.

The Meteorological Department says that in North India, from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi to Punjab Haryana, such spells of rain will keep coming amidst the heat. Due to this, there will be a drop in temperature. Relief can be seen in some parts of eastern and western India in the coming days due to rain with strong thunderstorms.

Cyclone warning

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a threat of cyclone from Northeast to Western India. There are chances of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura in the next five days. Talking about West India, there is a warning of rain with strong winds in coastal areas of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat. Similar weather changes are expected in peninsular areas like Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
