IMD issued alert: Heavy rain will occur in these 10 districts in the next 24 hours with thunder and storm

For the past few days, including the country’s capital Delhi, there is a continuous change in the weather patterns. Due to the rains in late March and early April, people have seen a lot of relief from the heat.


However, due to Western Disturbance, it is raining with strong winds in different states. At the same time, due to strong sunlight during the day, the temperature has increased in many states.

There will be an increase of 2-4°C in maximum temperature over most parts of the country during next 4 days. In the capital Delhi, on April 09, the minimum temperature in New Delhi was 17 degrees and the maximum temperature was 34 degrees. On the other hand, the sky was clear and sunny in New Delhi today. However, due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain in the capital Delhi in the coming times.

According to the Meteorological Department, during 24 hours, light to moderate rain is possible in parts of Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra and Karnataka. With this, isolated light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning is expected over Kerala and Tamil Nadu during the next five days from April 8 to 12. Light rain alert has been issued in Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam.

If we talk about Madhya Pradesh, due to Western Disturbance, heavy rains are being seen in other districts including the capital Bhopal. Along with this, strong winds are also being seen since morning. In Bhopal, hailstorm accompanied by heavy rains also fell in many areas. However, the Meteorological Department has predicted hot winds and heat wave along with rise in temperature in the coming days.

Along with this, alert for thunderstorm, lightning and strong winds has been issued at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe. Light rain warning has been issued in Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam.
