During the last 24 hours, rain was recorded at different places in the districts of Gwalior, Jabalpur and Sagar, Bhopal divisions of the state. Maximum temperature increased substantially in the districts of Indore, Ujjain, Sagar divisions. The maximum temperature is expected to reach beyond 40 degrees once again.

Based on the information received from the Meteorological Department, it is being told that in the last 24 hours, rain was recorded at some places in the districts of Gwalior, Jabalpur and Sagar, Bhopal divisions of the state. Maximum temperature increased in full numbers in the districts of Indore, Ujjain, Sagar divisions. The maximum temperature has once again started crossing 40 degrees.

For the next 24 hours, the forecast of the Meteorological Department is saying that there will be rain at some places in the districts of Rewa division and in the districts of Niwari, Anuppur, Sagar, Shahdol, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Seoni, Raisen, Gwalior, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Neemuch and Mandsaur. Or there may be showers with thunder and lightning.

Orange alert has also been issued by the department, according to which there may be hailstorm at some places in Seoni district. According to the yellow alert, in the districts of Rewa division, there will be strong wind accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places in the districts of Niwari, Anuppur, Sagar, Shahdol, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur.

‘Mocha’ will also make an impact

Along with this, the effect of cyclone ‘Mocha’ arising from the Bay of Bengal will also affect Madhya Pradesh. In some parts of the state, there will be a thunderstorm with a speed of 40 km per hour, then light rain may also occur. In such a situation, the mood of summer can become cold again.

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of ‘Mocha’ may increase again in the next two-three days. Due to this, its effect will be visible in the eastern parts of the country as well as in Madhya Pradesh and other states. However, at the moment no possibility of heavy rains has been expressed in Madhya Pradesh.


Why the weather is changing

A Western Disturbance is active as a Cyclone in the upper air circulation over North Pakistan. A cyclonic circulation has formed in the upper part of the air over North-East Rajasthan. A low pressure area has formed in the southeast region of the Bay of Bengal.

There is a possibility of Avadab turning into a cyclone storm by May 10. Due to this upheaval in the Bay of Bengal, the wind direction has started changing completely. On Sunday, the wind direction was western, north-west. For this reason, most of the cities of Madhya Pradesh are recording maximum rise in morning temperature.
