IMD Alert: Before the departure of monsoon, the weather has changed in many states of India and heavy rains continue. Today on Monday also, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in 12-13 states. Today, warning of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya. There is a possibility of light to moderate and heavy rain with thunderstorms in Eastern India in the coming days.



Alert of heavy rain in these states today

IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Bihar, Konkan, Goa, South Gujarat region, Central Maharashtra and North Interior Karnataka today. Apart from this, heavy rains will occur in many districts of Maharashtra and moderate rains in 19 districts of Haryana. A warning has been issued.

Till September 30, there is a possibility of rain at more places in Eastern UP than in Western UP. Today, warning of lightning, strong wind and light to moderate rain has been issued in 42 districts. There is a possibility of rain in 37 districts of Madhya Pradesh. It will be partly cloudy in Delhi today. The maximum temperature is likely to be 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be 25 degrees Celsius.

Light rain warning in these states

According to Skymet, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls may occur over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, parts of Jharkhand, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of Maharashtra.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in North-Eastern India, Ganga coastal West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, South-Eastern Rajasthan, Eastern Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, some parts of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana and Eastern Rajasthan. , Light rain may occur over parts of West Gujarat, Interior Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Condition of the whole week 

  • Light to moderate to heavy rainfall is expected over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and North Interior Karnataka on September 25, 27 and 28.
  • Orange alert has been issued for the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in various areas of Andaman and Nicobar between 26 to 28 September.
  • There may be rain in Central Maharashtra on 27 and 28 September, while in the rest of the country there is a possibility of sporadic rain in the next five days.
  • There will be light moderate to heavy rain in West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till September 27, during which there is also a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning.
  • Monsoon is likely to remain active in Jharkhand also for the next five-six days, hence a yellow alert has been issued for many districts on 25th and 26th September.
  • Rain is expected in North Interior Karnataka on September 25, 27 and 28.
  • There is a possibility of rain in Konkan and Goa on 25th and 28th September.
