IMD Rainfall Alert: Heavy hailstorm occurred in Madhya Pradesh during the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain has been recorded in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.


IMD Rainfall Alert: Cold is almost over from the plains of North India. A continuous increase in the minimum temperature is being recorded. On the other hand, due to Western Disturbance, rainy season is also going on in many states of North India. An alert has also been issued for Uttar Pradesh today that there will be rain in many areas here today. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also said that there is going to be heavy rain in the states of North-East India for the next four days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there was heavy hailstorm in Madhya Pradesh during the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain has been recorded in Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. Apart from this, heavy snowfall was also seen in the hilly states. At the same time, light to moderate rain was seen in some places in Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura. It also rained in Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand.

There will be rain in the western Himalayan regions on 22 February. Apart from this, alert of light rain has also been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan today. A storm may also occur in Madhya Pradesh today. The Meteorological Department estimates that a new Western Disturbance is going to hit from the night of 24th February, due to which there is going to be heavy rain and snowfall in the hilly states between 24-27th February.

Talking about Northeast India, there will be heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura on 22 and 23 February, while light rain is going to occur on 24 and 25 February. Apart from this, Bihar and Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim will see rain on 22 February. There will be rain in Odisha also on 22-24 February. The Meteorological Department has said that coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Kerala are going to have hot and humid weather on 22 and 23 February.
