Rain Alert: There is going to be a change in the weather of North India. There is going to be snowfall and rain in Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on January 9. It will rain in UP also.
Weather Update: It is extremely cold in entire North India including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi. The temperature may not be too low, but the chill is very severe. Apart from this, the havoc of fog is also not showing any sign of abating. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of change in weather patterns in entire North India including UP from tomorrow i.e. Monday. There may be rain in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh etc. tomorrow and the day after. Due to rain in the middle of winter, people’s problems may increase further and that is why they need to be careful.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense to very dense fog is expected in northwest India during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for hailstorm in areas of Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan tomorrow and the day after. Minimum temperatures are being recorded between 6-9 degrees Celsius in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, North Rajasthan. The lowest temperature on Sunday was recorded in Alwar in eastern Rajasthan, where the minimum temperature reached 3.8 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, cold day to severe cold day conditions are being recorded in East Rajasthan, Northwest Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab. At the same time, cold day conditions are being recorded in Delhi also.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that dense to very dense fog will be seen in Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh between January 7-9. Apart from this, there will be dense fog in the morning and night hours over Western Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on January 8. There will be dense fog in eastern Uttar Pradesh on January 8 to 10, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura on January 8 and 9 and Rajasthan on January 8-12. There will be cold day conditions in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi on January 7 and 8.
Talking about South India, there will be heavy rain in Tamil Nadu on January 7-10, Kerala on January 7, 8 and 10, Andhra Pradesh on January 8. At the same time, due to Western Disturbance, the weather of North India is also going to change. Snowfall and rain are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on January 9. Apart from this, there will be rain in the entire plains of North-West India including Uttar Pradesh on January 8 and 9. There is an alert of thunderstorm and heavy rain in Maharashtra on 7-9 January and in Gujarat on 8 and 9 January. Hail is going to fall in Eastern Rajasthan on 8th and 9th January and in Western Madhya Pradesh on 8th January. Rain alert has also been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim.
