IMD Rainfall/Weather Update Today: These days, different colors of weather are visible in the country. On one hand, cold is showing its effect with the drop in temperature, while on the other hand, rain activities are continuing in the southern states.
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe today on Monday. Apart from this, there is a possibility of snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh. From November, the effect of cold will intensify in a dozen states including UP, Bihar, MP, Chhattisgarh.
Heavy rain in these states
According to IMD, in view of heavy rains in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu, holiday has been declared in schools and colleges. From Tuesday to November 5, Chennai will see a period of rain and the temperature will fluctuate. There is a possibility of heavy rain in many areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala today. Light rain has been predicted in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mahe, Puducherry and Karaikal for the next five days. There will be no change in the weather in the rest of the country. Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, West Bengal, Northeast India and Sikkim may see light to moderate rain.
Snowfall in these states
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to the active western disturbance, the weather patterns are going to change in Rajasthan also. Due to weak western disturbance, there is a possibility of drizzle in some areas of the state. There are chances of snowfall in Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, light to moderate rain in Mahe, Puducherry, Karaikal and Lakshadweep during the next 5 days, while interior parts of Karnataka will also receive light rain on Monday and Tuesday. Light rain and snowfall is expected in some areas of Himachal Pradesh from October 31.
Weather of UP-Delhi will change from November
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there may be a drop in the temperature of Delhi. Today the maximum temperature is likely to be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 16 degrees. Fog may persist for the next few days. There will be a change in the weather in UP from November. The minimum temperature in Lucknow for the next few days is likely to be 18-19 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to be around 32-33 degrees Celsius. From the second week of November the temperature will drop rapidly and the effect of cold will intensify. There will also be an increase in mist and fog. The effect of fog and cold will intensify in Punjab from November. The temperature will also drop.
