The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand, along with this, light rain may be seen in some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Purvanchal.



Storm warning has been issued in Meghalaya. Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rain has also been predicted in Andhra Pradesh. A warning of lightning has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, while the onset of pink cold can be seen in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana including Delhi.

The weather will remain pleasant in the capital Delhi. Mild cold will also be seen while there will be a drop in temperature in Haryana and Punjab also.

Warning of increase in maximum temperature

Along with the drop in minimum temperature, a warning has also been issued about increase in maximum temperature. You may also feel humid heat. You will experience heat during the day and coolness at night. The Meteorological Department has made it clear in its forecast that rain is going to continue in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. An increase in temperature can be seen in some areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat. However, the sky will remain cloudy in some areas. Light drizzle can also be seen.

Warning of light rain in Pune and Goa also

Light rain warning has also been issued in Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Pune and Goa. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, rain activity can be seen in these areas also. However, the possibility of heavy rain has been ruled out. The area of low claims in the Bay of Bengal is now gradually coming to an end. Along with this, there may be a pause in rain activity in Bihar and Jharkhand.

A warning of light rain has been issued in some areas of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu while some areas will see a rise in temperature. However, there will be a decrease in the minimum temperature in all the states, while warnings of storm and thunderstorm have been issued in the southern states. Wind can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Warning of heavy rain has been issued in 10 states. Apart from Bihar, Jharkhand, warning of heavy rain has also been issued in Purvanchal, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, West Bengal, Orissa, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana. Light snowfall may be seen on hilly areas in some areas of Jammu Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Himachal and Uttarakhand. Along with this, cold will also increase in the hilly areas. Due to the cold winds coming from North India, there will be a drop in temperature in these areas. Along with this, cold may increase in lower areas also.

  • There is a possibility of extremely heavy rain and storm in Bihar, Jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
  • Widespread rainfall with extremely heavy rainfall and thunderstorm is likely over Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya.
  • Widespread rain and storm is expected over Ganga-West Bengal, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
  • Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Manipur may receive widespread rainfall with heavy falls and thunderstorms.
  • Scattered rain and storm is possible over Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Lakshadweep.
