Weather Update Today/IMD Alert: The weather is changing all over the country. On one hand, due to the activation of monsoon and new weather system, the rainy season has started in many states, on the other hand, due to increase in temperature in many states, the effect of heat and humidity is being seen. At present, there is no possibility of rain in the plains of North India, especially in Delhi-NCR, Haryana and West Rajasthan, rain is not expected for the next few days, but there is a possibility of active monsoon in Odisha, Chhattisgarh for the next five days From September 5, there may be heavy rains in Northeast India, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra as well.

Rain alert in these states today

Light rain very likely over South India including Andaman & Nicobar, Odisha, South Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Interior Karnataka during next 24 hours. On the other hand, light to moderate rain may occur in northeastern states of West Bengal, parts of eastern Bihar, eastern Jharkhand, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh today. Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and many areas of Telangana today. Heavy to very heavy rain has also been warned. There is a rain alert in the interior areas of North Karnataka and Rayalaseema even today.

What does the meteorological department’s forecast say?

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough is active near the foothills of the Himalayas, while the cyclonic circulation is around the northeast and east central Bay of Bengal. This cyclonic circulation extends up to the mid-tropospheric level of India, while a cyclonic circulation persists over South Chhattisgarh, due to which the weather is witnessing frequent changes.

Know the weather condition of the states

  • According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the weather will be clear in the country’s capital New Delhi on Monday. The minimum temperature can be recorded at 26 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 37 degrees. At present, there is no rain in the capital for the next few days.
  • There may be a change in the weather in UP from today. In Western UP, the weather will be dry till September 4, while in Eastern UP there is a possibility of rain at some places till September 8, however, with the monsoon gaining momentum after September 5, there will be scattered rain at one or two places in Western UP on September 5 and 6.
  • Can At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder at some places in Eastern UP.
  • The weather will remain clear in the plains of Uttarakhand for the next few days and there may be light rain in some areas. Yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Almora and Champawat districts till September 6.
  • There is an alert of light to moderate rain and lightning in Chhattisgarh till September 7, light rain may occur in East Madhya Pradesh till September 5-7, while light rain is expected in Western Madhya Pradesh on September 6-7. There is an alert of heavy rain in Konkan and Goa till September 7, while there may be heavy rain in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada from September 5 to 7.
  • Heavy rain alert has also been issued in Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and Goa on Monday, while orange alert has been issued for many areas of Telangana.
  • Heavy rain is expected in Odisha till September 7. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till September 5.
  • Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kadaikanal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala and Mahe and Telangana may receive heavy rains till September 7. Coastal and South Karnataka have also been warned of heavy rain on September 7.
