IMD Alert: Weather changed, Heavy rains in these states for so many days, IMD issued an Alert

Weather Update: IMD has predicted above normal temperature and more heatwave days in most parts of the country during the summer season this year. Several weather systems are likely to cause thunderstorms, hailstorms as well as lower temperatures in early April and mid-April in some areas, especially over East India.


New Delhi. Many parts of the country, which have been suffering from the scorching heat since March, have got a lot of relief from the rains in the last few days. Further relief is expected. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in many states of the country for the next 5 days. According to this, there are chances of rain in Delhi to Uttar Pradesh and many other states. Due to this, the maximum temperature will also fall.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to light rain and cloudy weather in Delhi, there is no possibility of increasing the temperature much. There is no possibility of heat wave for the next six to seven days. According to the department, Delhi is expected to have a maximum temperature of 35-37 degrees, along with which there may be light to moderate rains daily till May 3.

According to the IMD, due to the effect of fresh Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of rain again in the Western Himalayan region from April 26 and in the plains of Northwest India from April 28. In Delhi, there is a possibility of generally cloudy sky and light rain in the next six to seven days. By the end of April, the maximum temperature is likely to fall to at least 32 degree Celsius.

The IMD has predicted above normal maximum temperatures and more heatwave days in most parts of the country this summer. Several weather systems are likely to cause thunderstorms, hailstorms as well as lower temperatures in early April and mid-April in some areas, especially over East India.

Along with this, the department has issued a thunderstorm alert along with rain in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe for the next five days. On the other hand, in the Northeast, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya from April 28 to May 1 and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on April 29.

The Meteorological Department had said on Tuesday that there is no possibility of heat wave in the country in the next five days.
