A new western disturbance is forming in the Himalayan areas due to which there are chances of rain and snowfall. There is a possibility of rain in different areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between March 5-7. Hail has also been predicted. The weather of Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim is also going to deteriorate between March 7-9. Badra may rain in these three states.

According to this, the effect of western disturbance will be seen in this eastern state during the next one week. There may be light to moderate rain in isolated areas and there is also a possibility of snowfall. An alert has already been issued regarding this. The minimum temperature recorded in Delhi around 9 am today was 11.2 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be around 25 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded in the national capital on Monday was 24.9 degrees Celsius. This temperature was three degrees Celsius less than normal for this season. According to Central Pollution Control Board data, Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 122 at 9 am on Tuesday, which was in the ‘moderate’ category.
Mumbai’s temperature continues to drop, cold for next 2 days
A slight drop in temperature was recorded in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. IMD has predicted cold in the city for the next 2 days. The minimum temperature in the financial capital was recorded at 18 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded in the city on Monday was 17.9 degrees Celsius, which is the lowest temperature in March after a gap of four years. IMD Director Sunil Kamble said that for the last few days, the maximum temperature of Mumbai is being recorded between 25 to 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is between 18 to 20 degrees Celsius. He said that the temperature is changing due to change in wind direction. Kamble said, ‘The main reason for the drop in temperature in Mumbai is the change in wind direction. The temperature has also dropped due to northern and western winds as well as snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
