According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of Delhi is going to become pleasant again as soon as March starts. There will be light rain, drizzle is expected at night also. The Meteorological Department says that due to Western Disturbance and moist winds from the Arabian Sea in the beginning of March, it will also affect the plains.

At the same time, on March 2, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunder and light rain along with this storm. The temperature will drop slightly during this period. On March 2, the maximum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 14 degrees. On March 3 and 4, the sky will be surrounded by light clouds and there will be sunshine too. From March 2 to March 6, the maximum temperature will be 27.4 and the minimum will be 13.4 degrees Celsius. Overall, the first week of March will not be hot.

At the same time, the air quality in Delhi in the month of February was the best in the last nine years and during this period the air quality index remained below 200 on most of the days. Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) gave this information. Delhi received 32.5 mm rainfall in February this year, which is the highest in this month since 2013.

The average air quality index (AQI) of Delhi was recorded at 293 in February 2016, 267 in 2017, 235 in 2018, 242 in 2019, 240 in 2020, 281 in 2021, 225 in 2022, 237 in 2023 and 223 in 2024. According to CPCB data, not a single day in Delhi in the month of February did the AQI go above 400, which falls in the serious category. There were four days when the AQI was between 300 and 400 (very poor) and 10 days when the AQI was between 200 and 300 (poor). Till February 28, there were 14 days when AQI remained below 200 (moderate).
