IMD Alert: IMD gave weather alert for 5 days, know what will be the condition of your city

IMD Alert: In some parts of Delhi, there was light rain on Thursday and dusty strong winds blew. The maximum temperature was 36.9 degree Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Palam Observatory recorded a wind speed of 58 kmph.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Palam Observatory recorded a wind speed of 58 kmph. The IMD said similar conditions are expected in the capital for the next two to three days and no heatwave is expected till May 30.

Know what the Meteorological Department said:

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of Western Disturbance active in the Western Himalayan region, there is a forecast of intermittent rains in the National Capital and its surrounding areas in North-West India in the next two to three days. Heat wave conditions prevailed in many parts of Delhi on Monday and Tuesday, and many weather stations recorded maximum temperature above 45 degree Celsius.

Due to the heat wave, the power demand in Delhi increased to 6,916 MW on Tuesday, which is the highest so far this season, officials said. He said the power demand in the city was recorded at 7,695 MW last summer and this year it could reach 8,100 MW.

Relief found in Noida as well:

Residents of Noida have got relief from the continuous heat wave and summer heat for the last four-five days. While there was strong sunshine and heat in the morning, by the evening it became cloudy and it started raining heavily, hail also fell at many places.

In many sectors including Sector 121 of Noida, the weather suddenly changed at 6.30 pm, strong winds started blowing and it started raining with hail. The rain was so heavy that people had to slow down the speed of their vehicles. Two wheeler drivers were seen looking for shelter to avoid the rain.

Weather experts say that this rain has happened due to the Western Disturbance and due to this rain, the temperature has dropped by 8 degrees. This rainy season may continue tomorrow as well. Yellow alert has also been issued for this. As such, this time in NCR, April and May have been less hot than normal. But, in the last three-four days, the people of Noida were facing scorching summer.
