IMD Alert: Heavy rain warning in 16 states till 6th April, weather will change, heat wave alert in 5 states, know details

The Meteorological Department said that on Sunday, heat wave conditions will prevail in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division, Vidarbha and Gujarat.



The India Meteorological Department (IMD Alert) has predicted heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam-Meghalaya from Monday, April 4. The weather agency has also warned that an upper air cyclonic circulation is likely to form over South Andaman Sea and neighborhood on April 6. Due to which rain alert has been issued in 16 states. At the same time, heatwave alert has been issued in 6 states.

Let us inform that the possibility of heat wave has been expressed in many areas of North Central India, in fact it was issued today in many areas of Bihar, UP, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Himachal . However, a drop in temperature has been observed in some areas. On one hand, in these UP-MP-Bihar-Rajasthan , the minimum temperature is expected to be 20 to 22 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is 34 to 37 degree Celsius.

Apart from this , a heatwave alert has been issued in some parts of Rajasthan , Vidarbha, Jharkhand, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Southwest, parts of Uttar Pradesh . According to the Meteorological Department, after 121 years, there has been so much heat this time in the month of March and this time March has been the hottest month.

The IMD said that strong southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will cause rain over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam-Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during the next 5 days . Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya will receive heavy rainfall till April 5. A similar weather system will prevail over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till April 4. Meghalaya is also likely to receive extremely heavy rains on April 3 and 4.

Here the hill state is also likely to see a rise in temperature. With the rise in temperature, light warm air will move. Normal life will be disturbed due to the continuation of the heat wave. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light warm air in some parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu . Along with this, cold weather will continue in Leh Ladakh. It is cloudy in some areas of Jharkhand West Bengal. Due to which the public has got some relief. On the other hand, drizzle can be seen in some parts of West Bengal and Sikkim.

The IMD also said that thunderstorm/lightning is very likely over Assam-Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on April 5. For Southern part of India, IMD said that widespread rainfall is very likely over Kerala-Mahe during next 5 days and light rain over Tamil Nadu-Puducherry-Karaikal, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh (Coastal Andhra Pradesh) during next 5 days. Light rain will also occur over Telangana (April 4-6) and Telangana (April 6).

Let us inform that the Meteorological Department said that due to the absence of an active western disturbance, the mercury is rising unevenly in North India and less rain has been recorded. On the other hand, due to southwesterly winds, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh Meghalaya Assam Nagaland Manipur Tripura for the next 5 days. Apart from this, rain has also been predicted in the northern areas of West Bengal and Sikkim. Rains will continue in the southern state as well.

Heatwave prediction

The Meteorological Department said that on Sunday, heat wave conditions will prevail in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division, Vidarbha and Gujarat. There will be no significant change in the maximum temperature for the next five days in the rest of the country.

Cyclonic circulation in Andaman

The IMD said that a cyclonic circulation is very likely to form over South Andaman Sea and adjoining areas on April 6. Strong weather (speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) very likely over South Andaman Sea and adjoining areas on the same day.
