IMD Alert! Heavy rain expected in these states for next 5 days, see latest IMD report

Weather Updates: According to the Meteorological Office, during the next few days, there will be rain with thunder and lightning in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh-Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.


It rained in Delhi and its surrounding areas on Monday morning , making the weather very pleasant. The temperature has come down to 26.4 Celsius due to light rain. Let us inform that there was heavy rain in the national capital on Saturday and since then Delhiites have got relief from the heat. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there was moderate rain in Delhi between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm. The Met Office has predicted rain and thundershowers in the capital in the next few days. Along with Delhi, there is a possibility of rain in Haryana, Punjab, Himachal till July 20.


According to the Meteorological Office, during the next few days, there will be rain with thunder and lightning in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh-Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, due to the torrential rains in Delhi on Saturday, people got relief from the sultry heat, but traffic was also disrupted due to waterlogging in many areas. Delhi’s Khanpur, Hauzrani, Malviya Nagar, Uttam Nagar, Dhaula Kuan, Near AIIMS Flyover, Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, Vikas Marg, ITO, Sikandra Road, Kirti Nagar, Anand Parvat-Zakhira Road and Majnu Ka Tila including Ring Road Traffic was affected due to waterlogging in many areas.

Heavy rain continues in Kerala

With incessant heavy rains continuing to lash Kerala and water in some dams approaching their storage capacity, the administration on Saturday sounded an alert for people living along the banks of rivers in northern and central parts of the state. At the same time, heavy rains have occurred in many parts of cities adjoining Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
