IMD Alert, Today Weather Update: Changes are being seen every moment across the country. Western Disturbance became active. Due to which heavy rain including snowfall is being seen in the hilly state. On the other hand, forecast of rain has been expressed in the capital Delhi today. There is a possibility of rain in UP, Bihar till January 14. Apart from this, the possibility of cold day and rain has also been expressed in the states of Orissa, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh etc. The weather is changing in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. Today 40 minutes of rain has been seen in Rajasthan, along with it an orange alert has also been issued for cold wave.

Chance of rain in Delhi NCR
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in Delhi today. It will be cloudy in many parts of the capital Delhi on Thursday and Friday. There is a possibility of rain. Along with this, cold alert has been issued once again from January 14 as soon as the disturbance passes. Issuing the warning of cold wave, people have been advised to be alert. Increase in temperature in these areas
Due to the active Western Disturbance, there has been an increase in the temperature of some areas. Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh including Uttar Pradesh have seen an increase of two to three percent in the minimum temperature. After January 14, there is a possibility of bad weather once again in these areas.

Orange alert issued for cold day in 8 districts of Bihar
Severe cold alert was sounded in 8 districts of Bihar. Issuing an alert, a warning of heavy cold wave has been issued for 2 days. The possibility of rain has also been expressed in some areas today. Dense fog will continue to wreak havoc till January 16 amidst the bitter cold. Khagaria, Gaya, Aurangabad and Rohtas saw a drop in the minimum temperature while Banka recorded the coldest.

Alert of rain and cold wave in UP
There is a possibility of rain in some districts of Uttar Pradesh amid severe cold on Thursday. Along with this, dense fog will be seen. There was a warning of dense fog on Thursday morning. Chance of Rain/Snow
Light to moderate widespread rain/snow very likely over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh on January 12 and 13. Widespread rain or snow on January 12 and light rain or snow on January 13 are also likely over Uttarakhand. Light rain is likely over Punjab, Haryana and adjoining West Uttar Pradesh on January 12 and 13.

Heavy rain including heavy snowfall in Uttarakhand Himachal
The weather is changing in Uttarakhand Kedarnath has received the first snowfall of the year. Along with this, rain has been seen in the lower parts. With bitter cold. A red alert for heavy snowfall has been issued in the higher reaches of Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti and Kullu, while a yellow alert has been issued for Shimla, including Chamba, Kangra, Mandi and Sirmaur, warning of heavy snowfall.

Fog and gold wave warning including rain in Rajasthan
Yellow alert has been issued for dense fog in Rajasthan, the first wave has fallen in Jodhpur. If there has been a drop in temperature by 5 to 7 degrees in different parts, while the temperature has increased in some areas of Rajasthan.
