IMD Rainfall, Weather Update: Shadow of heavy rain is being seen in many states on Diwali. There are chances of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa. For this, Orange Yellow alert has been issued while moderate rain can be seen in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan including the capital Delhi.

The weather in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh will remain cloudy. Fog will increase. However, day temperature will increase. Due to which heat will be felt. Due to the activity of western disturbance, snowfall is going to continue in the hilly areas. Then till Tuesday, heavy snowfall will be seen on the mountain peaks in Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, while rain will continue to wreak havoc in the lower areas.

Rain forecast

The maximum temperature recorded in Delhi a day earlier was 22 degrees Celsius. The temperature has been recorded 7 degrees below normal. A cyclonic circulation is present over central Pakistan. In such a situation, there is a possibility of rain in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab. Forecast of thunderstorm and lightning with lightning has been issued in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal. Actually, North East Monsoon is active in these areas. Due to which continuous changes are being seen in the weather.

A low pressure active in the Bay of Bengal

Strong easterly north-easterly winds in the Gulf are moving towards the South Peninsular. Rain may be seen in Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. An active low pressure area will form over South East and South West Bay of Bengal including Andaman Nicobar Islands for 7 days. Due to which significant changes will be seen in the weather in many areas from November 15.

There will be a reduction in visibility as Delhi becomes cloudy from Monday. However, there is no possibility of any significant change in the temperature. Landslide activity is being witnessed due to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. Trains till November 16 have been cancelled. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a western disturbance has formed in Delhi and surrounding areas on Thursday evening, which is drawing moisture from the Arabian Sea.

In such a situation, rain activity will start in Delhi and most of the surrounding states. However, there is little possibility of the weather system lasting long in Delhi. There is a possibility of its further expansion towards the east. After which the weather in Delhi will become dry. Light rain will be seen in Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. Along with this, instructions have been given to punish people due to landslides. There will be clouds in the sky. The temperature will drop.
