IMD Rainfall Alert: Talking about North West India, a new round of rain will come in the western Himalayan region from May 5 onwards. It will rain in the plains on May 6 and 7.

People have also got relief from the scorching heat since many days. The rainy season is going to start once again in North West India. On May 6 and 7, there will be light to moderate rain in the states of North West India. Apart from this, Andaman and Nicobar Islands are going to receive heavy to very heavy rains from May 7 to May 9.

According to IMD, Andaman and Nicobar will receive heavy to very heavy rainfall on May 7 and 8. Apart from this, strong winds with a speed of 40-50 kmph are expected on May 7. This speed will increase up to 70 kilometers per hour. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the Bay of Bengal between May 7 and May 9.

Talking about North West India, after May 5, a new round of rain will come in the western Himalayan region. Apart from this, rain, thunderstorm may occur in the plains of Northwest India on May 6 and 7. There is an alert for hailstorm in Punjab and Haryana on May 7.

Rain for five days in south india

Talking about South India, there is an alert for rain, lightning, strong winds etc. to continue for the next five days. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal will receive heavy rains on May 4. Apart from this, heavy rains may occur over South Interior Karnataka on May 7 and 8. Talking about the states of North East India, light to moderate rain is expected for the next two days. At the same time, there may be heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh on May 4 and 5. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Assam and Meghalaya on May 4.

The Meteorological Department has told about the weather of the last 24 hours that the maximum temperature in most parts of the country was recorded at 37 degree Celsius on Wednesday. It remained three to six degrees Celsius less than the average. At the same time, there will be an increase in the maximum temperature in the coastal areas of Odisha around May 7. By May 8, the temperature may go up by two to four degrees Celsius above normal. At the same time, heatwave is not expected to continue in any part of the country for the next five days.
