Heavy rain and thunderstorm expected in Delhi

The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for Delhi on Monday and Tuesday, warning of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in the region. The maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius, which was 3.9 degrees Celsius below the average temperature of this season. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), strong winds are expected in Delhi and its surrounding areas today, whose speed can be around 60 kilometers per hour. Light rain and thundershowers may also occur in these areas.

Alert for two days in Bihar

The Meteorological Center in Bihar has issued a fresh warning and advised people to stay alert. The weather is likely to remain bad in the state for the next two days. There is a strong possibility of severe weather in many districts of Bihar between 2 and 3 June. There is a high possibility of not only heavy rain but also strong storms and lightning. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning in Kosi-Seemanchal and parts of East Bihar from 2 to 3 June.

The Meteorological Department has warned that strong winds with a speed of 50 to 70 kmph may blow in Haryana, Chandigarh on June 3. During this time, similar weather is expected in some parts of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Rajasthan.

There will be fluctuations in the weather in Uttar Pradesh for the next 3 to 4 days. Meanwhile, due to the movement of clouds, heat as well as humidity is being felt. Amidst the humid heat and movement of clouds in the state, the Meteorological Department has predicted drizzle with thunderstorms in both the eastern and western divisions during the 3rd zoom. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in the eastern and western areas of the state from 2 to 3 June. During this time, the winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

There will be heavy rain in these seven states

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert warning of heavy to very heavy rains in many states of the North East. According to the IMD, heavy rains and landslide conditions are already prevailing in Northeast India and the rains are likely to intensify in the coming three days. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may receive heavy to very heavy rains at some places in the next 24 hours. An orange alert has been issued for all these states.
