IMD Alert: Alert of heavy rain in 12 states including Uttarakhand-Bihar till August 5, temperature will increase in these areas, see details

Changes in weather are being seen in many parts of the country. The IMD said that on one hand, the rains are continuing in the southern and eastern states. On the other hand , drizzle has started in Punjab Haryana including capital Delhi . In Bihar too, there is a change in the weather from moment to moment. However , there is an increase in the temperature in Jharkhand, West Bengal . According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increase in rainfall activity in peninsular India from July 1.

Here, between July 31 and August 5, there is a possibility of heavy rain in East and Northeast India including Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for rain in Jammu and Kashmir including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh . Alert issued for many areas of Uttarakhand today. Rains will continue in Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh till August 5.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Nainital including Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Chamoli, Garhwal, Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand . On Sunday, a warning has been issued to the people living in these areas to be careful, while on Monday an alert has been issued for Dehradun, Tehri Garhwal, Nainital, Champawat.

Apart from this, the phase of heavy rains will continue in the eastern states. An alert has also been issued regarding Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur including Nagaland landslides, while talking about the northeastern states, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Orissa may see moderate rains. However, there is an increase in temperature in the states of Northeast India as well.


Due to the change in weather, several eastern states like Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha have predicted moderate to heavy rains till August 2. Heavy rain is expected in Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and other states for the next four days.

The monsoon season is in full swing across the country, with many northern states experiencing heavy rains and clear skies. The Meteorological Department has sent an important notice warning of heavy rain in many states. In the next 4-5 days, it is also possible that the central Indian states like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will receive heavy rains over the eastern regions on August 3. Light to moderate rain is also likely in Delhi.

Here for South India, IMD has predicted heavy rains in Rayalaseema from August 1. Apart from this, an alert of heavy rain has also been issued in interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu Puducherry including Coastal Karnataka and Kerala for 5 consecutive days. In its official weather forecast, the IMD said that parts of West Bengal and Bihar are likely to receive rain on July 31. Meanwhile, in the first week of August, areas of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal are expected to receive significant rainfall.

The capital Delhi will see showers. Whereas , a yellow alert of rain has been issued in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra and other southern parts as well. In many areas of Madhya Pradesh, the process of rain will start once again. Whereas an alert has been issued for many districts of Bihar.
