15000 rupees challan rule
Under section 180 of the Motor Vehicles Act, if a person drives a vehicle without a driving license, he can be fined Rs 5000. Along with this, you can also be jailed for 3 months. Before the new law came, there was a provision of fine of 500 rupees and imprisonment of up to 3 months for breaking this rule. At the same time, if the registration certificate is not there, a challan of Rs 10,000 can be deducted. That is, in the absence of these two documents, your challan of 15 thousand rupees can be deducted.


Rules under IT Act 2000
The government has made a provision for people to obtain their driving license and registration certificate (RC) through the DigiLocker app from the respective DTO or issuing authority. Verified documents in DigiLocker can be used in place of original driving license and RC. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under the Information Technology Act, 2000 RT-11036/64/2017/MV that the DigiLocker App or the m-Parivahan App shall hold the driving license, RC or any other documents as legal as the original documents. will be formally recognized.

How to use Digilocker

>> DigiLocker is a safe locker system developed by the government. User can upload all types of documents in it. To use it, first of all you have to install DigiLocker app in the phone. Or you can visit https://digitallocker.gov.in/. After this, you will have to signup in the app with the help of your Aadhar card number. An OTP will also come on the Aadhaar number registered phone. After signup, you will have to create a username and password to login.

>> You will have a single DigiLocker account as it is linked with your Aadhar card. After creating the account, you can upload your documents in it.
