Insurance company ICICI Lombard has announced Group Safeguard Insurance in association with India’s digital payment app PhonePay. Through this policy, customers will be able to avail hospital facilities at cheaper rates. This is a policy in which a certain amount will be available on hospitalization due to injury or illnesses including corona. The biggest advantage of this policy is that you will not need a hospital bill to take your claim.
For this, only the discharge certificate will work. This cover can be availed in less than two minutes. It is one of the cheapest hospital insurance policies available in the market. PhonePe users aged 18–65 can get this product on the app and do not need to undergo any prior medical testing.
Get up to 5000 rupees cover every day
Under this policy, the insured patient will get a cover of Rs 500 to Rs 5000 per day. Its coverage will be available in any government and private hospitals in the country. For this, you only have to pay a premium of Rs 135. That is, only 35 paise a day. To avail this policy, one has to be admitted to the hospital for at least 48 hours. If an insured is admitted in ICU, then his coverage amount will be doubled. Those who already have mediclaim policy, employer health insurance, bill to pay hospital bills, they can also take the benefit of the claim.
