Why invoice is deducted-

Friends, let us tell you that challans are deducted for breaking traffic rules. Like jumping red light, overloading the vehicle etc. These situations directly become the reason for deducting the challan-

  • The driver does not have a license.
  • No vehicle documents.
  • Parking the car in no parking space.
  • Rash and rough driving.
  • Driving a minor.

Let us also tell you that for violating different traffic rules, different challan fees are fixed. The fine amount varies from state to state. Information about this fee has been made available on the website of the traffic police of the respective state.

How to make a complaint on deducting wrong challan-

Friends, if you travel on a car or bike and you have not left any traffic rule, yet your wrong challan has been deducted, then you can give information about this by contacting the helpline of the traffic police. Huh.

Let us tell you that apart from registering a complaint on the helpline, you can also register your complaint through e-mail. The Traffic Police investigates such complaints and cancels the wrongly cut challan. The helpline line number and email address for making a complaint can be obtained from the traffic police website of the respective state.

How to get wrong challan deducted-

Friends, let us tell you that these days cameras have been installed in all the cities including Delhi to keep an eye on the violation of traffic rules like over speed, redlight jump and stopping the vehicle beyond the stop line. Through these e-challan is generated and the challan message is sent to the registered mobile number of the vehicle owner.

There are many such complaints that the cameras are sometimes unable to read the number plate of the vehicle properly. Due to this, the challan of someone else is deducted instead of the one who made the mistake. Many times this happens due to people not writing the number on the number plate of the vehicle correctly or because the number plate is not clearly visible due to soil or dust on the number plate.

Traffic police conducts special campaign

Friends, let us tell you that the traffic police of different states run special campaigns to make the public aware of traffic rules. Along with this, special drives are also run on their behalf to nab the minors driving the vehicle and challans are deducted. They also raid school parking lots. If a minor is caught driving a vehicle, action is taken against his parents.
