How many mobile numbers are registered with your Aadhaar? , special facility will be available in 2 states

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has recently launched a portal, using which you can check how many mobile numbers are registered on an Aadhaar card.



Have you also forgotten how many mobile numbers are registered with your Aadhar card? If this is the case then now you do not need to worry at all, you can check from home that how many mobile numbers have been taken from your Aadhaar so far. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has recently launched a portal, using which you can check how many mobile numbers are registered on an Aadhaar card. This can be checked by visiting the website of Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP).

TAFCOP has written on its website that “This website has been developed to help the customers to check the number of mobile connections working in their name and to take necessary action to regularize their additional mobile connections. However, the primary responsibility of handling the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) rests with the service providers.”

Service started in two states

According to the existing guidelines, individual mobile customers can register a maximum of nine mobile connections in their name. Let us tell you that TAFCOP portal is working in two states. This includes Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.



How to check phone number registered with Aadhar card (phone numbers registered against the Aadhar number)

1. You have to go to Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection Portal.

2. Here you have to enter your mobile number.

3. Now you have to click on OTP request.

4. Now Enter Valid OTP

5. All the numbers linked to your Aadhaar number will be visible on the website.

6. From the list of these numbers, you can report and block those numbers which are not in use or which you do not need.

7. An SMS will be sent to people having more than nine numbers against one Aadhaar.

8. Also you can regularize additional connections by following step no.5

9. The mobile number entered by you should already be linked with Aadhaar to avail this service.
