Lucknow. Home Registry in 500 Rupees: The UP government is soon going to make changes in an important rule related to the purchase of houses and land. After which the registry will be done on the purchase of house on a stamp of Rs 500. After the implementation of this rule, people will get a lot of convenience. Let us inform that on the proposal given by the officials of the Housing Department, the consent of the higher officials has been made in the meeting. Soon this proposal will be sent to the cabinet for approval.

Registry will be done on a stamp of Rs 500
According to a news published in Dainik Hindustan, the state government wants that along with the Housing Development Council and Development Authority, the facility should be given to get the EWS houses built by private builders on a stamp of Rs 500. With this facility, the poor will get houses at a lower price. The housing department had sought a list of such houses from all the development authorities of the state. In such a situation, about 7000 houses have been identified which are EWS houses. The number of EWS houses built in Lucknow, Bareilly, Varanasi, Basti, Kushinagar, Kapilvastu and Sonbhadra is yet to be ascertained. The Housing Department believes that by giving the facility of registry on a stamp of Rs 500, big relief can be given to the poor.

Proposal sent to cabinet
Let us tell you that for buying a house, expensive registration fees have to be paid. The registration stamp duty is 5 to 7 percent of the value of the house. In such a situation, builders are able to fill their pockets, but poor people do not get the benefit of the government’s scheme. In such a situation, the registration of EWS houses will now be done on a stamp of Rs 500. The proposal has been sent to the cabinet. After getting approval, this rule will be implemented.

It is believed that before the assembly elections, this gift can be given by the government for the poor. With this, the dream of buying a house of the poor will be fulfilled. At the same time, according to an estimate, the stamp department will suffer a loss of Rs 15 crore.
