Solan Fire Breaks: A massive fire broke out in a cosmetic product manufacturing factory in Solan. As soon as information about the incident was received, Health Minister Dhaniram Shandil and many senior officials reached the spot and took information about the incident.


Himachal Pradesh News: A massive fire broke out on Friday (February 2) in a cosmetic product manufacturing factory located in Jharmajri, Baddi, an industrial area of ​​Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. One woman lost her life in this accident, while 31 people were injured and 9 people were reported missing. The rescue operation continued till late night to rescue the workers trapped inside. At present the cause of the fire has not been known yet. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Health Minister Dhaniram Shandil reached the spot and took information about the incident.

Dhaniram Shandil took complete information about the accident from District Magistrate Solan Manmohan Sharma, police and NDRF officials and gave directions regarding relief and rescue operations. Apart from this, the Health Minister reached the hospital to inquire about the well being of the injured in this incident, where he inquired about the health of the injured. During this, Dhaniram Shandil said that as soon as Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu received information about this unfortunate incident, he directed the district administration to carry out immediate relief and rescue work and provide better treatment to the injured. CM has given instructions to investigate this incident. Based on the investigation report, action will be taken against the culprits.


More than 22 fire brigades were deployed at the spot.

While talking to ANI, fire brigade officer Sanjeev said that the work of extinguishing the fire is still going on. More than 22 vehicles have been deployed, including fire brigade vehicles from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh as well as other vehicles from nearby industries. More items have been called in to control the fire. We are continuously controlling the fire from outside. Prem Singh, father of one of the victims injured in the fire, said that his 23-year-old daughter Rakhi worked in a cosmetic factory and had reached work on Friday morning. When he came to know about the fire incident, he reached the spot and is still trying to find his daughter’s name in the list of injured.

‘Action will be taken after the relief and rescue work’

Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh DGP Sanjay Kundas said that action will be taken after the relief and rescue work is completed. This is a perfume factory and chemicals and ethyl alcohol are used in the factory, due to which it is becoming difficult to control the fire. Our priority is to take the injured to the hospital. Action will be taken after relief and rescue work. He further said that fire brigade, NDRF and SDRF are working to control the fire.
