New Delhi. A very interesting incident related to the country’s largest private bank HDFC Bank has come to light. The bank transferred crores of rupees to the accounts of many of its customers overnight on Sunday.

What is the whole matter?

According to media reports, on Sunday night, HDFC Bank in Tamil Nadu transferred Rs 1300 crore to the accounts of more than 100 customers. The bank transferred Rs 13-13 crore to every customer’s account and made him a millionaire for 1 day.

The whole matter is about the branch of HDFC Bank located in T.Nagar, Tamil Nadu. 13-13 crores were deposited in the accounts of 100 customers of the same branch. One of these customers, on seeing the message of balance credit, informed the police about the matter.

In the investigation of the police, it was told from the bank that due to a technical fault, such an SMS was mistakenly sent to the mobile number of the account holders. He said that the process of a software patch was going on in this branch of HDFC and due to this the error occurred.

In the report, quoting an HDFC official, it was confirmed that due to a technical problem in the bank’s system, money has been deposited in the customers’ account. Neither the bank’s system has been hacked nor has Rs 13-13 crore been deposited in the accounts of these customers. Only the message related to this matter had reached him.
