Delhi Airport has developed an Air Suvidha portal to help air travellers being brought to India under The Vande Bharat Mission. With this portal, passengers visiting India will be exempted from the quarantine process.
New Delhi: Delhi Airport has developed an Air Suvidha portal to help air travellers being brought to India under the Vande Bharat Mission. With this portal, passengers visiting India will be exempted from the quarantine process. Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has launched the facility.
With this portal, passengers will not only be able to fill up their Self Declaration form without hassle but also apply for exemption from the mandatory quarantine process. On sanction of application, information can also be provided to passengers through the same portal.
The online form has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of External Affairs and governments of various states and union territories including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh, the company said on Friday.
Launch to take over on August 8
The Air Suvi harmful portal will be launched on August 8 to help passengers. Subsequently, all passengers coming from abroad will be able to avail this air facility portal. The e-form available on the website www.newdelhiairport.in of Delhi Airport has to be filled. They have to submit it with the necessary documents including a copy of their passport at least 72 hours before they catch their flight. With the help of air facility, passengers will not have to provide the same information to different departments again and again. Once the information is filed in the portal, it will automatically reach all departments.
They will get exemptions
There are five kinds of cabinets to get exemption from being quarantined on this portal. Pregnant women in the first catagiri, patients suffering from serious illness in the second catagiri, parents with children under 10 years of age in the third category, under the fourth category, have recently been found to be corona negative in rt-PCR test. The Covid-19 test should not be more than 96 hours old. In the fifth category, the passengers who have died in their homes have been included.
A copy of the discount request accepted or canceled on a specific basis will be emailed to passengers. Those who have been exempted from compulsory quarantine can show it in the transfer area after arriving at the airport and come out of the airport without any hassles.
