A good initiative has been taken by the Bihar government for the graduate girls. Under the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, graduate girls are given an incentive amount of Rs 50,000. In this episode, the government has sought applications to give incentives to graduate girls from affiliated and constituent colleges in Jehanabad. The incentive amount will be given to those girls who have passed the graduation examination between 1 April 2021 and 31 December 2024.
In such a situation, to take advantage of this scheme, the students will have to apply on the official website of the department. At the same time, the department has fixed the last date for online application as 5 September. The documents of the students applying within the stipulated time limit will be verified. After that the amount will be sent directly to their bank accounts.
Application conditions and necessary documents
According to the college administration, to avail the benefits of this scheme, the girl students must have an account in National Bank or Post Payment Bank. Also, that bank account must be linked to the Aadhar card. While applying on the departmental portal, the girl students will have to upload some important documents, which are as follows
• Educational certificate
• Aadhar card
• Photocopy of bank passbook
