On the occasion of Diwali, the government is going to give a big benefit to the connection holders of Ujjwala Yojana. Under this scheme, four lakh beneficiaries associated with Ujjwala Yojana will get the benefit of free gas cylinder refill from the government on Diwali. At the same time, if you have not taken the connection of Ujjwala Yojana yet, then link your bank account with Aadhar as soon as possible and complete the e-KYC, so that they too can take advantage of this scheme. Let us tell you that the Government of India provides the facility of free gas cylinder refill twice every year to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana.
These instructions were given to the people
According to the District Supply Officer, consumers who have not yet linked their bank accounts to Aadhaar or completed e-KYC under the Ujjwala Yojana should contact their bank branch or gas agency as soon as possible to complete this process. Once consumers’ e-KYC is complete, they will also be eligible for free gas refills. Meanwhile, the District Supply Officer has requested the Lead Bank Manager to make special arrangements to ensure smooth e-KYC operations at all bank branches.
Every year the Government of India
The Government of India provides free gas cylinder refills twice a year to Ujjwala Yojana connection holders. The first phase runs from October to December and the second from January to March. Currently, 5,24,546 families in Hardoi are associated with this scheme, out of which Aadhaar linking and e-KYC of 4,18,439 consumers have been completed. Upon booking the cylinder, the subsidy amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of these beneficiaries. At the same time, the Aadhaar and e-KYC work of about 1,06,101 consumers is still pending, which has been requested to be completed soon so that they too can avail the benefits of the scheme.
