The government has again increased the pension. Earlier in the first week of April, the pension amount was increased by Rs 200 to Rs 1400. Now the government has again increased it by Rs 100 to Rs 1500.

In the instructions received from the government, the Social Welfare Department has started preparations to release an amount of Rs 4500 for the first quarter to 7.23 lakh pensioners from April 1. It is worth noting that in Uttarakhand, the pension amount was increased for the last time in 2014. Then the amount of old age, disabled and widow pension was increased to Rs 1200 every month.
Now again this year i.e. in March of 2022, the amount received by the pensioners was increased. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to increase the pension of all three categories from 1200 to 1400. Once again the CM has increased the amount of pension.
Giving information about this, Principal Secretary El Fanai said that the pension of disabled, elderly and widowed women has been increased to Rs 1500 per month. Now every three months, a pension of Rs 4500 will be sent to the account of the beneficiaries by the Social Welfare Department. Earlier, pension of Rs 4200 for 3 months was being sent to the account of pensioners at the rate of Rs 1400 per month.
That is, this time the pension amount of old age, widow and disabled pensioners has been increased by Rs 100, due to which their pension has increased from Rs 1400 to 1500 now. Now pension amount of Rs 4500 will be sent every quarter to the elderly, disabled and the beneficiaries of old age pension.
