EPFO: The government is going to launch the e-shram portal for workers in the unorganized sector on August 26. After which every worker of the country will have a record.
The Modi government at the Center is going to take another initiative for the unorganized workers. Ministry of Labor and Employment is going to launch e-shram portal on 26 August for about 437 crore unorganized workers across the country. With this initiative of the government, the benefits of all social security schemes will reach all the unorganized workers of the country.
Unorganized workers across the country who work in different sectors, their records will be prepared according to their work on the lines of identity card and Aadhar card so that plans can be made and implemented for their upliftment.

Under this scheme, 54 crore workers present in the country will be registered on the e-shram portal. With the help of this registration, the number of unorganized and organized workers in the country will be ascertained.

Today launches logo E labor portal
will be issued logo E labor portal and how to work it, this structure will do it in consultation with the trade unions on this. A database of unorganized laborers across the country will be prepared on the portal. What will be the benefit to the workers and what role the trade unions can play in this will also be discussed.
