National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), an organization working under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, has issued an order for the first time to give risk allowance to technical-non-technical personnel employed by outsourcing or direct contracting last month. .

According to a media report, the order states that the risk allowance of contract workers in China, Pakistan, Bangladesh borders and hilly areas has been increased by 100 to 170 percent. According to NHIDCL, the salary of 12th pass non-technical staff data entry operator in Ladakh through outsourced work has been increased from 16,770 to 41,440 rupees.
Along with this, medical insurance of five lakh rupees will be given to the technical or non-technical staff hired through outsourced or direct contract and 10 lakh rupees will be given by the company of exempt insurance. Also, TA, DA, ESI and PF will be available from the company.
NHIDCL has divided into three categories of risk and inaccessible locations. The first category is Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim and Uttarakhand, while the second consists of Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Mizoram and Nagaland.
