One time investment
In this pension scheme run by the central government, people have to invest a lump sum amount once. The scheme is reviewed every year on 1st April. The invested amount is reciprocated and returned to the subscribers, giving pension on yearly, half yearly, quarterly and monthly basis.
Investment amount
Under this scheme, customers will have to invest a minimum of Rs 1.62 lakh, quarterly Rs 1.61 lakh, minimum Rs 1000, half yearly Rs 1.59 lakh and on an annual basis Rs 1.56 lakh. The maximum investment has been kept at Rs 15 lakh.
Amount of pension
Under this scheme, Rs 5,5500 will be given to the subscribers on a 6-month basis, Rs 1,11000 annually, Rs 27,750 on a quarterly basis and Rs 9,250 as a pension for the maximum investment.
Interest Amount
Under this scheme, if you invest Rs 15 lakh in this year i.e. 2021, then till the year 2031, you will get Rs 7.4 lakh as fixed return. If the pensioner is alive even during the policy term of 10 years, then he gets back the invested amount along with the last installment of pension. If that policy holder dies, then all his money is given to the nominee.
