Good news: Yogi government will give bonus and DA to state workers before Diwali, know details

After the announcement of the central government to give three percent dearness allowance (DA) before Diwali, now the Yogi government of UP is also preparing to give this installment of DA to 16 lakh employees of the state before Diwali. 



Along with the salary for the month of October, a gift of bonus is also being given to the state employees. Overall, there will be a huge amount in the pockets of the employees in the form of salary of October, increased DA and bonus before Diwali. Due to which a sharp jump is expected in the market.

According to the information received from the sources of the Finance Department, the file for giving bonus to 14.82 lakh non-gazetted state employees, daily wage earners and work-charged employees is ready. Government order is awaited. The circular of the central government is awaited to prepare the DA file. In a day or two, the file will be ready after the central government’s DA increase circular is uploaded. By Monday or Tuesday, the state government can also announce DA and bonus.

Promised Decision

Only two months ago, the Central and State Governments had paid three installments of Dearness Allowance, which was seized due to Corona. At the same time it was promised that the installment of Dearness Allowance for July 2021 would be given around Diwali.


Hope for pensioners too

The employees will get the benefit of DA for July from July itself. The government will decide whether to give the amount from July to September in the form of arrears or through provident fund accounts and other savings certificates. Dearness relief for pensioners is also expected to be announced.

Whereas, U.P. President of Secretariat Association, Yadavendra Mishra has demanded from the state government that like the central government, before Diwali, the state employees should announce DA and bonus, so that the employees can share this happiness with the family. Atul Mishra, national secretary of the Indian Public Service Employees Federation (IPSES), has demanded from the Chief Minister to order payment of DA and bonus to the employees before Diwali.
