Wheel chairs have been arranged in all Head Post Offices. Apart from this, two counters have been set up at GPO, Bankipur and Lohianagar post offices for making life certificates of the elderly. In GPO, more than 10 separate chairs have been set up for the elderly who come to make life proof for pension. A table has also been kept with chairs, on which the elderly can fill the form.

Gauri Devi, 70, who came from Gardnibagh, says that if this system had been in place earlier, other elders would not have had to face problems.
