New Delhi. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers in the festive season, budget airline company IndiGo has started new direct flights on many routes. Indigo has announced to start direct flights to the most beautiful places of the country on Tuesday. Indio has started direct flights between Shillong and Dibrugarh under the UDAN scheme. Due to this, the passengers are going to get a lot of convenience in the coming days.

Indigo has started direct flight between Shillong and Dibrugarh. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia flagged off Indigo’s direct flight service between Shillong Dibrugarh in a virtual way.

IndiGo has deployed 78 seater ATR-72 for this route. This flight will take off from Shillong at 10.20 am and will take off from Dibrugarh at 11.55 am to Shillong.

12 hours journey covered in 75 minutes

Let us tell you that due to non-availability of any direct means of transport, people were forced to take a long journey of 12 hours by road and train to travel between Shillong and Dibrugarh. But now by opting for a flight of only 75 minutes, one can easily fly between the two cities.
