Good news has been received! 28% DA money came in the salary of central employees, did you get it?

7th Pay Commission: 7th Pay Commission: DA has been paid at the rate of 28 per cent in July salary. This means that the central employees and pensioners have got 11 percent more money.



The government has increased the dearness allowance of central employees to 28% from July 1. According to our partner website Zeebiz.com, now the news is that the increased salary of central employees has been paid. Along with the salary of July, 28 percent dearness allowance has come, let us tell you that the government had removed the ban from the DA which was running freeze for the last 18 months. It has been reinstated since July 1. This was announced in the cabinet meeting of July 14.

HRA also received gift

Central employees have got the benefit of HRA along with DA. HRA money is also given on the basis of their city. According to the order, the cities have been divided into three categories, which have been named X, Y, Z. Now the central employee residing in X city has been given 27% house rent allowance (HRA) for Y, 18% for Y and 9% for Z. Let us tell you, the benefit of HRA is available only to those employees who are in service. Retired employees are not given this benefit.

Total three installments of DA have been paid. Dearness allowance has been increased by 11%. DA is calculated on the basic salary. If someone’s salary is Rs 20000, then by 11% his salary will increase by Rs 2200.

Increased salary of central employees

How much will the salary increase, understand the calculation
According to the 7th pay matrix, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of officer grade. Suppose if someone’s basic salary is currently Rs 31550.

Basic Salary Rs 31550

New Dearness Allowance (28%) Rs 8834 / Monthly
Old Dearness Allowance (17%) Rs 5364 / Monthly
How much will increase 8834-5364 = Rs 3490 / Monthly
Dearness Allowance will increase 3490 X12 = Rs 41880

Note- Salary has been calculated here on the basis of inflation only. HRA and travel allowance are also calculated in the final salary.

DA is yet to increase by 3 percent



Dearness allowance for June 2021 has not been decided yet. But, it is clear from the AICPI data for January to June 2021 that 3 percent dearness allowance will increase further. In June, the AICPI figure has crossed 121 points. According to JCM Secretary (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra, it is to be announced soon. However, when it will be paid is not yet decided. But, after increasing by 3 per cent more, dearness allowance will reach 31 per cent. Meaning the salary is sure to increase once again.
