Uttar Pradesh government gives subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh to farmers to buy new tractors
PM Kisan Tractor Yojana: The central government continues to run many schemes to increase the income of farmers and improve the economic condition. The government has also brought many schemes keeping them in mind. Under PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 6000 is deposited in his account annually. Subsidies are given on seeds, fertilizers, and many types of machines. The government gives subsidy to farmers to buy tractors. Farming becomes easier with new machines and tractors as it saves both time and effort.
Opportunity till 30th November
In view of this problem of the farmers, the government helps the farmers at all levels. In this direction, the Uttar Pradesh government gives a subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh to the farmers to buy a new tractor. If farmers of UP state are planning to buy tractors, then they can apply for subsidy by 30th November.
Who will get the subsidy
Women farmers, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe farmers get subsidy on tractor first. However, farmers falling in the general category get subsidy on tractors as per the rules of the state government.
How much subsidy is available on tractor
- In Uttar Pradesh, 30% subsidy is given to farmers to buy a new tractor.
- The benefit of this subsidy is being given by the Horticulture Department.
- The general category farmers get subsidy of up to Rs 75,000 for buying tractors up to 20 HP.
- At the same time, a subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh is given for the Scheduled Caste farmers.
- Apart from this, a subsidy of 25 percent is given by the Agriculture Department on the purchase of tractors. A subsidy of up to Rs 45,000 is given on buying a tractor from here.
Conditions for buying a new tractor in UP
- The eligibility and rules for providing the benefit of subsidy on the purchase of new tractors have been decided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, which are as follows:
- To buy a new tractor on subsidy, the applicant farmer must be a native of Uttar Pradesh.
- The benefit of subsidy for purchase of new tractors will be given to only small and marginal farmers of the state.
- To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary to have field documents in the name of the farmer.
- A farmer can buy tractor only once on subsidy.
- Only one farmer of a family can apply for subsidy on tractor.
- Under this scheme only those farmers can take benefit, who have not got the benefit of subsidy from the government for buying tractor in last 7 years.
- Apart from this, the farmer applying for the subsidy should not be involved in any other agricultural machinery subsidy scheme.

- Applicant Kisan Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card).
- Land papers in the name of the farmer.
- Passbook of the applicant farmer’s bank account.
- Farmer’s mobile number.
- Farmer’s passport size photo.
What is PM Kisan Tractor Scheme
Farmers need tractor for farming. There are many farmers in the country who are unable to buy tractors due to financial constraints. He either takes a tractor on rent or does the farming with the help of bullocks. Keeping such farmers in mind, the government has come up with PM Kisan Tractor Scheme. Under this scheme farmers get tractor at half price.
50% subsidy is available
The central government gives subsidy (PM Kisan Tractor Yojana) to farmers to buy tractors. Under this, farmers can buy tractors from the company at half the price. The government will give the rest of the money. Apart from this, many state governments also give subsidy of 20 to 50% on tractors to the farmers at their own level.

The government gives subsidy on only one tractor. If you want to take advantage of this scheme, then you should have Kisan Aadhar card, land paper, bank details, passport size photo. Under this scheme, farmers can apply online by visiting any nearest CSC center.
