There is big news for liquor lovers in Madhya Pradesh. Liquor will become cheaper in MP from April 1. Shivraj government has decided to reduce the excise duty on foreign liquor by 10 percent.

Due to this, the prices of foreign liquor will fall by 50 to 500 rupees per bottle. Whiskey, beer, wine will all come down in price. Apart from this, country liquor will also be cheaper. The pavva available for Rs 110 of country liquor will be available for Rs 85.

According to reports, the new liquor policy issued by the Shivraj government is going to be implemented from April 1. Under this, a decision has been taken to reduce the margin of liquor. The Shivraj cabinet met on Friday in which it was approved to make heritage liquor. The government believes that this will lead to economic empowerment of the tribals. Tribals will be able to make and sell liquor from Mahua. Under the pilot project, this arrangement will be implemented in Dindori and Alirajpur.

Under the new liquor policy, any person whose annual income is more than Rs 1 crore, he will be able to get a private bar license by depositing 50 thousand rupees . They will be allowed to open a small bar at home. Along with this, the government has also increased the limit of keeping liquor at home up to 4 times.
