DA Hike: Big update on DA, know which employees' salary has been increased by how much this time.

The central government has given a big gift to lakhs of central employees. The government has decided to increase the Dearness Allowance. Its notification has also been issued by the government. Let us tell you, the benefit of this new announcement will be given to those employees who are paid salary under the fifth and sixth finance commissions.

How much has increased?

Dearness Allowance of Central employees getting salary under the Fifth Finance Commission has been increased from 368 percent to 381 percent. At the same time, employees getting salary under the Sixth Finance Commission will get 203% dearness allowance instead of 196%. A notification has also been issued in this regard by the Department of Expenditure under the Ministry of Finance. The employees will get the increased DA from January 1, 2022.

This new order of the Ministry of Finance will benefit the employees of autonomous bodies along with the central employees. On behalf of the ministry, it has been said that the inflation rate of the employees getting salary under the Sixth Finance Commission will be raised from 196% to 203%. It will be effective from 1 January 2022.

More recently, the central government had increased the dearness relief from 31 percent to 34%. This will also be effective from the date of January 1, 2022. At the same time, the Modi government had also increased the dearness allowance from 28 percent to 31 percent of the employees getting salary under the Seventh Finance Commission.
