Vande Bharat Express Train: Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has announced to give an additional stoppage to Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express (20901/20902).
Now this train will also stop at Navsari station. Railways has started it on an experimental basis. According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, this new stoppage will be implemented from 23 and 24 August 2025.
When will the new stoppage be implemented
Train number 20901 Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express will stop at Navsari station from 24 August 2025. This train will arrive at 08:43 am and depart at 08:45 am.
Train number 20902 Gandhinagar Capital-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will stop at Navsari from 23 August 2025. This train will arrive at 17:27 pm and will proceed at 17:29 pm.
Convenience for passengers
This decision is a big relief for the passengers travelling between Navsari and Mumbai and Gandhinagar. Earlier these passengers had to catch the train from Surat or Vapi. Now they will get the option of boarding Vande Bharat directly from Navsari.
Railway statement
Railways has said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of passengers. At present, this stoppage has been given on trial basis. Further, after looking at the situation and demand, it will be considered to make it permanent.
